About learning art at our school
At Poowong Consolidated School students are offered timetabled specialist classes in both Visual Arts and Performing Arts each week. Lessons in visual arts include creative painting, drawing and sculpture. Student work is entered and displayed at local shows and in term 4 of 2026 we will run an art show that will showcase the amazing work of all students.

Performing Arts
We offer music and performing arts as part of our weekly program.
Every two years we do a whole school production. In 2019 we are proud to be presenting Shrek -The Musical in October.
We also offer are private guitar lessons which are paid for by parents. Students attend these during class time
